EAT & DRINK
The Food
Rossco's brings Italian technique and Mediterranean generosity to quality Australian produce. Start with warm house-marinated olives, garlic focaccia, zucchini flowers or Hervey Bay calamari. Stay for hand-rolled gnocchi, Roman-style carbonara and risotto, or choose from the grill — locally sourced eye fillet, grass-fed Kilcoy rib fillet and a one-kilogram Bistecca alla Fiorentina made to share. Round things out with a side of charred greens, crisp rosemary potatoes or a simple radicchio salad, and leave room for tiramisu or affogato to finish.
Our woodfired pizzas run from Margherita and Diavola to the Mortazza with mortadella, burrata and pistachio, available to enjoy at Rossco's or take home. Pair them with something from the bar — a spritz, a glass from our Italian-leaning wine list, or a cold beer on tap — and settle in at a table that feels less like a restaurant booking and more like an invitation to someone's home.
The Beverage
A great meal deserves a great glass, and we've put just as
much thought into what's in your hand as what's on your
plate. Our wine list has been carefully curated to be
approachable and fitting for any occasion, whether you're
winding down after a long day or settling in for a slow,
shared meal. From crisp Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs
and elegant Chablis to bold Barossa Shiraz and silky
Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir, there's something to
complement every dish and every mood.
If bubbles are more your thing, we've got a gorgeous
selection of sparkling and Champagne. From a local
Tasmanian sparkler to a French Champagne supplier for when the
moment really calls for it, and when it comes to cocktails,
we've got you covered at both ends of the day - kick off a
long lunch with an Aperol Spritz or a Hugo in the beer
garden, or knock off in style with a Rossco's Remedy, a
Negroni, or a Mediterranean Martini to round out the
evening the right way.
